Waffle Iron Magic: From Keto Egg Waffles to Cheesy Pepperoni Bites

Today, I dusted off my grandma's old waffle iron and whipped up a delicious breakfast. I remembered those scrumptious egg waffles that are super easy to make. You can eat these waffles like stuffed bread, for example, with mayonnaise. Get the egg waffle recipe here.

Once the waffle iron was hot, I decided to try a recipe I saw on TikTok and make some delicious cheese and pepperoni bites. These tasty snacks are quick to prepare and are a perfect addition to your coffee table spread. They're especially great for guests following a low-carb or keto diet. Cheese and Pepperoni Bites with a Waffle Iron

You only need two ingredients:


Cheese slices

Pepperoni slices


Instructions:


1. Grate cheese using a cheese grater and place the cheese slices on the hot waffle iron.

2. Add pepperoni slices on top, followed by another layer of cheese slices.

3. Cook until the cheese melts and forms into the shape of the waffle, easily releasing from the iron.

4. Fold or cut the bites into pieces.

5. Enjoy these delicious bites as they are or dip them in your favorite dipping sauce.



Layer the cheese and pepperoni on the waffle iron.



Cook for a short while. At first, it seems like a mistake to put cheese on the iron as it stretches and pops, but soon it molds into a waffle.

Cut or fold into smaller bites. Enjoy with a dip!
